Music & Theory Lessons
When looking for the best for your child, don’t settle for anything less than top quality education. You as a parent can introduce music to your children and give them an amazing opportunity to discover new paths. I as a teacher can show them the way to achieve their maximum potential. Playing a musical instrument has been proven to lengthen the attention span, help become a better listener, and also develop stronger coordination and focus skills. Together we can rekindle music in our hearts and pass it on to the next generation!
The theory aspect of music is essential for all-over understanding of notation. In order to receive the RCM Certificate, written test is required (theory part), in addition to the instrument examination (practical part) by Royal Conservatory of Music as of Grade 5.
It is great if students make theory a part of their musical education early, or add it to their curriculum as they progress with the instrument lessons. Theory lessons are offered by Ms. Walls, Ms. Kreyman, and Ms. Thomson. For additional information on these teachers click on the teacher profile page links.
